I offer comprehensive fee-only financial planning and real estate investment analysis. During the planning process, I will cover all facets of your financial life including what you see below. However, this is not intended to be a checklist since no two plans are identical and no two clients have the same needs.
I have been engaged in the planning industry as both a planner, CFP Program Director, and Professor. What this means is that I thrive on not only learning and problem-solving but also in educating people. My job is to give you answers to financial questions you have, or may not even know that you have so that you can make educated decisions.
Additionally, while I have had the opportunity to work through the most popular planning software, I still choose to use some of the basics built-in Excel. In fact, I still train my students on many of the platforms to prepare them to work for larger outfits. However, when it comes to my own planning those platforms are not what I rely on. I want to clearly outline everything and present it in such a way that avoids both you and me from relying on the “Black Box” of the software. If you are looking for an advisor that takes your data and inputs it into a software package to arrive at a simple probability of success, then that is not what you will get with me. I love the numbers and the planning, and I want to make sure that you get as much as you need or want out of our planning relationship.
